Tintatatornin, a song written by Illien is an amazingly hard song Kvothe plays at the Eolian in the beginning of The Wise Man's Fear. Kvothe describes it as an oddity compared to Illien's other songs as it has no lyrics and is not as catchy. Kvothe's father referred to it as "the finest song written for fifteen fingers" and made Kvothe play it when he was full of himself. He attempts to make the song look easy by playing it in a carefree manner, in counterpoint to Bellweather, an easy song he plays with the utmost care, confusing the general crowd and making the musicians in the Eolian burst out laughing.
