Levinshir is a small town in Vintas with a population of about two to three hundred. It lies between Haert in Ademre and Severen in Vintas.

In The Wise Man's Fear, Kvothe meets up with a band of Edema Ruh impersonators who recently visited Levinshir. The band kidnapped two of the towns girls, Krin and Ellie, and physically and sexually abused them. When Kvothe learns of this, he kills the impersonators and returns the girls back to Levinshir.
